Job Description - Trainee Accountant

We are continuing to expand our operations and are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our team.
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a high level of initiative and possess the following:
Relevant 3rd level qualification in business/accountancy.
Minimum 2.1 degree.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines/targets.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and time management skills.
'Can-do, will do' attitude.
A logical mindset.
As there is no direct transportation link, the suitable candidate will need transportation.
The Role:
The Trainee Accountant will be (but not limited to) involved in the following activities:
Daily cash sheet reconciliation and management.
Management of the accounts receivable process.
Routine reconciliation of customer accounts.
Management of our online payments systems.
Liaising with internal sales team to deal with any queries which may arise on customer accounts.
General ledger maintenance.
Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports for the Senior Management Team.
Work on ad-hoc/business improvement projects.
The successful candidate will have exposure to how a successful Irish SME operates and have a direct impact into how the business will perform and be managed over the coming years.
Terms and Conditions:
32-40 hours per week.
Hybrid working model.
Starting salary: €30,000 based on a 40-hour week.
