The CompanyOur client is a highly respected public sector organisation operating across Northern Ireland, delivering independent oversight and support services that contribute to public service delivery.The RoleOur client is seeking an Administrative Officer to provide efficient, accurate and confidential administrative support across Finance and Corporate Services. This is a temporary role for an immediate start (initial 3 months, with potential for extension) based in Derry/Londonderry.Key responsibilities include:Processing purchase orders, invoices and expenses in line with financial proceduresAssisting with bank, VAT and nominal ledger reconciliationsResolving invoice queries and maintaining prompt payment recordsSupporting financial reporting, including monthly and annual performance dataUndertaking data input, analysis and reporting using financial systemsMaintaining contract management databases to support reviews, renewals and spend trackingAssisting with procurement exercises, tenders and contract administrationResponding to internal and external enquiries across finance, IT, premises and suppliersBooking meeting rooms and ensuring facilities are prepared and maintainedMaintaining relationships with internal teams, suppliers and contractorsCarrying out general administration duties including filing, photocopying, post and stationery managementSupporting wider Corporate Services activities and ad hoc project work as requiredThe PersonEssential CriteriaA minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including English and Mathematics, or equivalentAt least 2 years' administrative experience within a finance environmentExperience using Sage Accounts or similar accounting software, including processing payments and posting transactions Package & BenefitsContract: Temporary - 3 months initially (with potential for extension)Immediate start availableLocation: Derry/LondonderryFull-time hours (standard office hours)How to ApplyTo apply for this role, submit your CV via the application form provided.Alternatively, to speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity, please contact Zeena Jackson via DisclaimerIf you have a disability which means you require assistance at any stage of the recruitment process, please contact us directly to discuss.
