Responsibilities:
* Partner with Sales and other staff involved in the sales process – all Opportunity owners.
* Interpret proposals, including fee proposals sold to prospective clients, and build these in Salesforce.
* Confirm that the fee proposal makes sense and the right combination of products has been sold.
* Configure quotes in Salesforce, add necessary products and pricing.
* Undertake administrative work associated with the Opportunity, including:
* Creation of any new accounts.
* Establishing an accurate account hierarchy.
* Enrichment of account data.
* Adding necessary documents.
* Ensure accuracy of Deal team and split to capture commission correctly.
* Collaborate closely with Opportunity Owners (Sales, CRM, CSMs), plus Onboarding, Client Data team, and Data Quality team.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in the Funds industry, particularly regulated environments.
* Strong working knowledge of Salesforce; CPQ experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret complex fee proposals and translate them into system configurations.
* High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working in a multi‑regional, cross‑functional environment.
* For Europe support, experience in the regulated funds industry is required.
Importance of the Role:
This role is critical to ensuring that proposals are not only commercially sound but also accurately reflected in Salesforce to enable seamless billing and revenue recognition. By acting as a control point, the Salesforce Proposal & Opportunity Analyst helps safeguard data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency across the sales lifecycle.
