About The Role
As a Python developer at Xtremepush, you will be part of our Customer Data team, reporting to our Customer Data Team Lead. Your role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, custom Python applications, and the Python component of our InfinityAI application. Collaborating with the wider team, you will ensure best practices and focus on scalable, high-performance applications.
You will also leverage your machine learning experience to enhance the functionality and use cases of our InfinityAI product. Maintaining good relationships with your immediate team and adjacent teams, you are encouraged to suggest improvements to tooling, processes, and approaches to benefit the business from a machine learning perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Python Development
* Become an expert in the Python components of our InfinityAI application, contributing to iterative improvements.
* Maintain and optimize data transfer applications in efficacy and architecture.
* Collaborate with other teams on custom client solutions and broader Python application development to support the product.
Machine Learning
* Utilize your experience to advance Xtremepush’s machine learning capabilities within the core application and for internal efficiency.
* Stay informed about advancements in machine learning to ensure the use of the latest technologies and techniques.
* Contribute to the planning and development of Xtremepush’s LAM project.
General Development
* Ensure thorough planning, testing, and documentation of solutions.
* Implement best practices in code development and deployment, creating maintainable and scalable applications.
* Become proficient in AWS technologies supporting these responsibilities.
Your Experience And Qualifications
* Extensive experience developing Python applications focused on data and machine learning.
* Deep knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications.
* Experience designing solutions in a cloud environment.
* Strong interest in LLM, LAM, and generative AI technologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing cross-functional projects.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, London, or Milton Keynes.
