Maintenance Technician Role
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and optimal performance of all plant equipment. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with the production team to achieve operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
* Conduct planned maintenance routines and maintain accurate records by entering maintenance data into the system and updating equipment logs.
* Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
* Carry out electro-mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled systems, pneumatic and hydraulic components, and their control systems.
* Monitor production lines and intervene immediately when issues arise.
Requirements:
* Techincal diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent field) essential.
* Health & Safety certification desirable.
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role essential.
* Experience working with high-speed production lines, conveyors, packaging equipment, or automated systems essential.
* Proven experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repairs essential.

Schedule:
8 hour shift with availability to work full time and On Call.
