About Your New Job as Civil Design Engineer
Design civil and site infrastructure for buildings and mixed‑use developments (drainage, grading, utilities, site layout).
Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and structural teams.
Prepare and review design drawings, reports, and specifications per Irish Building Regulations.
Use BIM and 3D modelling tools (Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage).
Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments.
Liaise with clients, planners, contractors, and local authorities.
Contribute to sustainability and climate‑resilient design strategies.
What Skills You Need
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering (NFQ Level 8 or higher).
3 to 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering design, ideally within an architectural or consulting environment.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit.
Strong understanding of Irish planning procedures and Building Regulations.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a collaborative mindset.
