Conlans Kildare are a BMW retailer located in Newhall, Naas, with showrooms and Aftersales facilities that have been equipped and developed to the very latest BMW standards. As a result of significant operation expansions, we are now recruiting for career-oriented Parts Manager to join our Kildare team.
Responsibilities include:
· Manage, mentor, train and lead the existing team of Parts Advisors
· Create and manage staff rota for the Parts department
· Be responsible for the overall profitability of the Parts Department, ensuring department meets/exceeds agreed revenue performance targets in line with Manufacturer standards
· Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from BMW/MINI ensuring accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders
· Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system
· Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail and trade customers
· Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are accountable
· Establish customers' needs for required parts, communicating relevant promotions and offers to customers when appropriate
· Manage and control all parts administration requirements in line with manufacturer guidelines
· Ensure standards are in line with regulatory requirements and BMW/MINI standards
· Uphold safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the Group
· Maintain product knowledge on the full BMW/MINI parts and accessories ranges
· Use & maintain relevant manufacturer systems always ensuring accuracy
Requirements:
· Previous motor retail parts management experience is essential
· Previous experience of CDK/Kerridge is a distinct advantage
· Analytical and an ability to meet and exceed defined targets
· Impeccable standards demanded of yourself and team members
· Excellent communication skills
· Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
· Ability and hunger to learn and develop
· Full, clean driving licence
