Our neurodevelopmental assessments include autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, speechandlanguage, emotional regulation, sensory, trauma and attachmentneeds.

We are now seeking a Psychologisttofulfil a neurodevelopmental assessment role in our assessment and therapeutic service pathway.

We provide a holistic neurodevelopmental assessment training to all members of our team in our trademarked Neurodevelopmental Assessment System.

The Opportunity This is suitable for a passionate and skilled Psychologist with a strong interest in neurodevelopmental presentations (e.g.

autism, ADHD, DCD, dyslexia, mental health etc).

Youll play a leading role in conducting and overseeing assessments, guiding therapeutic direction, and supporting families with meaningful formulations and practical, compassionate care plans.

Youll also contribute to service innovation and have scope to influence best practice in neurodiversity affirmative assessment models.

Key Responsibilities Conduct high-quality psychological assessments (including cognitive, adaptive, and neurodevelopmental) and provide psychologically rich formulations and reports Lead on complex neurodevelopmental assessments across autism, ADHD, and otherprofiles Collaborate with a warm and experienced multidisciplinary team, including Speech and Language Therapy, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy Supportfamiliesand professionalstounderstandachildsprofilethrough feedback, psychoeducation, and written documentation Contributetoinnovationinourneurodevelopmentalpathways,quality improvement, and service development Provideclinicalleadershipandsupervisiontoassistantpsychologistsandother team members as required Engage in continued professional development in line with the clinics commitment to clinical excellence What Were Looking For Essential: Applicantsmust havearecogniseduniversitydegreeordiploma(Qualityand Qualifications Ireland(QQI)level8equivalent)obtainedwith1stor2ndclass honoursinwhich Psychologywastakenasamajorsubjectandhonours obtained in that subject A recognised professional post-graduate qualification in clinical, counselling or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification which meets the requirements of competency-based evaluation and standards set out by the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Supervised placements and PSI accreditation are a requirement for such qualifications Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standardofsuitabilityandability),fortheproperdischargeofthedutiesofthe office Eligible for PSI Chartered status Minimum 3 yearsexperience in child/adolescent mental health, primary care, disability,orneurodevelopmentalservices.

This canincludethe3years training on a professional psychology programme Minimumof60daysworkinginadisability/CDNTservice.

Thiscanbeduringa training placement Strongskillsinassessment,formulation,andpsychologicalreportwriting Abilitytoworkcompassionatelywithfamilies,includingthoseexperiencing emotional overwhelm or systemic challenges A commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practice ADOS-2 training Desirable: Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD Knowledge of assessment tools such as QB, Conners, etc.

Interest in developing frameworks for formulation and documentation Experience supervising assistant psychologists or trainees Familiarity with Bruce Perrys Neurosequential Model or similar neurodevelopmental frameworks Why Join EPT Clinic?
