Role Overview
* Reporting to: Director of Services
* Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
* Working Week: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
* Location of Work: Midland Counties (Offaly, Westmeath, Roscommon)
Role Responsibilities
* Lead service development, including new services and enhancements to existing centres.
* Manage working relationships, including PICs, MDT, HIQA, HSE & TUSLA.
* Oversee governance, compliance, and workforce planning across centres.
* Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations, legislation, and organisational policies.
* Drive continuous quality improvement through audits, inspections, and action plans.
* Contribute to strategic management and support organisational development projects.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively and efficiently in consultation with Finance.
* Train and develop staff in partnership with HR.
* Foster strong stakeholder relationships with service owners, families, and funders.
* Investigate and resolve complaints and service issues in a professional manner.
* Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all services.
Role Requirements
* QQI L7/8/9 Qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
* Management qualification is desirable.
* 5+ years of management experience in the ID or related sector.
* Act as PPIM for all services within their remit.
* Have a proficient working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated regulations and guidance; and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector.
* Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
* Hold a full clean driving license and access to a car.
* Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
