As a dedicated Support Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team providing person-centred services to individuals with disabilities in our residential services. Key Responsibilities:
">
* Support residents with daily living tasks such as personal care, mobility, and feeding.
">
* Encourage and promote independence, self-advocacy, and empowerment among residents.
">
* Assist residents with therapeutic activities, social events, and leisure pursuits to enhance their quality of life.
">
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners.
">
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
">
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for residents and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Care, Health, or related field (Level 5 or higher).
">
* QQI Level 5 Major Award in one of the following: Social Care, Pre-Nursing, or relevant modules (including Special Needs/Disability Studies or Challenging Behaviour).
">
* 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in residential settings.
">
* Full clean manual driving license and willingness to drive company vehicles.
">
* Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
">
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
">
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
">
* Emotional intelligence, empathy, and compassion when interacting with residents and colleagues.

* Competitive salary scale: €32,639 - €39,499 per annum pro-rata.

* Generous annual leave entitlement: 30 days per annum pro-rata, and proportionately less for less than 12 months' service.
