Accounting Professional
This is a maternity leave contract position for an accounting professional in Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare weekly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
* Review overhead spending and report variances against budget and forecast.
* Analyse distribution costs, identifying key drivers of variance against budget and forecast.
* Accrue and prepay overhead costs.
* Prepare budgeted and forecasted overhead spends for the sites.
* Ensure accurate and complete stock valuation on the balance sheet for all locations.
* Coordinate quarterly stock count audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Participate in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required, contributing to continuous improvement and business support.
Requirements:
* Minimum two years experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable.
* Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
* Experience with accruals, prepayments, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with stock audits and reconciliations.
