Electrical Estimator Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Limerick. As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the full estimation process for electrical and renewable energy projects.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the full estimation process for electrical and renewable energy projects.
* Produce detailed and accurate cost estimates from technical drawings and specifications.
* Interpret electrical and employer requirements for complex Design & Build projects.
* Manage tenders end-to-end, coordinating with departments to deliver on time and on budget.
* Prepare technical submissions, including clarifications, inclusions and programme details.
* Source, review and assess supplier quotations for accuracy and completeness.
* Handle multiple tenders simultaneously while maintaining precision and control.
* Identify project risks and advise the bid team on mitigation strategies.
* Attend post tender meetings and ensure seamless handovers to project delivery teams.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will need:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in construction, including 2+ years in a senior estimating role.
* A proven background in the Power or Renewables sector.
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
