**Governance Leadership Role**
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Board of Directors. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring strong governance and supporting our vision for childcare services.

* Evaluate compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
* Sustain financial stability and monitor organisational performance.
This is an opportunity for individuals who possess experience in leadership or senior management roles. Familiarity with human resource practices is essential. Knowledge of childcare operations would be beneficial but not required. Essential skills include excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making abilities. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is also expected.
You can expect approximately 12 – 16 hours annually invested in this role including regular board meetings.
Louth County Childcare Offices are located in Dundalk while remote attendance may be possible on occasion.
