Our hospitality group in Ireland is seeking a seasoned IT expert to fill the role of Senior IT Support Specialist. This full-time position requires exceptional technical skills and collaborative aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver routine IT support across all departments
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and applications, including MICROS POS & Oracle Opera
* Administer servers (WS2016+), manage networks, and ensure robust security measures
* Maintain and upgrade audio-visual systems
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Hold a third-level qualification in Information Technology
* Expertise in Windows Pro, Active Directory, firewalls, and virtualization
* Experience with Veeam Backup
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Possess a valid driver's license
