DevOps Engineer Join our client's team as a DevOps Engineer and play a critical role in shaping the reliability, performance, and security of their infrastructure. You'll collaborate with developers and cloud architects to build world-class tools and systems that empower product teams to deliver faster, safer, and smarter. Day to day: Build dashboards and SLO-based alerts to improve incident response. Enhance observability through better logging, metrics, and tracing. Benchmark cloud disk performance and evaluate filesystem trade-offs. Review and optimize network security and IAM configurations. Write and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation modules across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Identify cost-saving opportunities in cloud infrastructure. Support product teams with DevOps tooling and occasional app code contributions. Experience: 4+ years of experience working in cloud environments, with hands-on DevOps or SRE responsibilities. Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or ARM/Bicep). Familiarity with cloud-native tools and best practices across AWS, GCP, or Azure. Programming experience in Golang or Java, plus scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or Csh). A problem-solving mindset you're not afraid to dive deep and figure things out from first principles. Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and ship high-impact solutions. A strong sense of ownership and accountability for what you build and support. Nice to Haves: In-depth understanding of snapshotting, volumes, and encryption across major cloud providers. Advanced knowledge of filesystems and performance trade-offs. Experience working with cross-account IAM and multi-cloud identity federation. Exposure to serverless deployments across cloud platforms.
