You will work across company sales campaigns with both New and Existing business teams while also focusing on generating larger Commercial New Business Leads for conversion.Location: Cork – Hybrid Remote – Office based with some remote working possibleSalary: Up to €70000 depending upon on experience plus bonus and benefits. Very competitive fixed salary plus additional bonus and incentive based payment.Hybrid role with a strong emphasis on client facing activities in the field.Primary Responsibilities:Account management of a strong book of existing clientsSales and new business activity managementSeek, quote and convert quotations for new commercial clients.Meet challenging income acquisition and referral targets set.Assist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines New Business Team.Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients in an agreed timeframe and meet and exceed minimum conversion ratios and revenue targets.Take ownership of delivery of the highest level of customer service to all clients and prospective clients.Work with broking and compliance teams to ensure compliance levels are at the highest possible level and the quality of records meets required standards.Provide support and guidance to Account Executive(s) on clients.Comply with all relevant compliance legislation.Manage aged debt and premium collection.Comply with all Management Audit Requirements.The right individual will possess the following:Core Skills: Only candidates with all of these requirements can be considered for this roleCIP qualification is a minimum standard required and ideally you will be ACII qualified or working towards this.5 years commercial lines insurance industry experience is essential.Strong new business development skills and a demonstrable track recording of growing revenues within the insurance industry over a number of years.The ability to deal with and convert larger more complex commercial risks into clients.Strong insurance product technical knowledge and understanding.Compliant with the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & Probity.Soft Skills: Only candidates with all of these requirements can be considered for this roleExceptional communication, presentation and client facing skills.A mixed of a strong account management skills allied to a passion for winning new business.A strong level of attention to detail.Target, goal and deadline orientated.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand customer needs.First class stakeholder, client and relationship management skills.Who might be the right fit for this role:An Account Manager or Director or other senior commercial lines insurance professional looking to join a rapidly growing organisation with a strong national presence and part of a global insurance organisation.An experienced and driven Account Executive, Manager or similar with significant commercial lines insurance industry experience and knowledge who is ready to make the step up to Account Director level and who wants increased responsibility.
