Excel Recruitment are searching for a Hospitality Project Manager for a new opening in the mid-west. We are seeking applications from experienced hospitality professionals with a strong food background to manage a pre-opening project for our client.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Manage the project at all levels, ensuring goals are met on a daily and weekly basis, keeping all stakeholders updated on progress and delays
2. Set and agree contingency plans for any unforeseen delays, ensuring next steps are addressed and amended if required
3. Lead on-site team to ensure key goals are achieved on time and within budget
4. Support operations team through training, coaching and measuring performance offering feedback and guidance
5. Recruit, select, on-board and train all new team members to enable them to integrate into the team seamlessly
6. Work closely with clients and customers, listening and actioning suggestions appropriately
7. Ensure day to day service is delivered as per agreed KPi's and SOP's
8. Monitor standards of service continuously, actioning or escalating gaps as appropriate
9. Lead a team by example, offering superior service to clients and customers and cultivating an atmosphere of excellence at all times
Requirements:
10. Previous experience in in a 5 Star or similar food and beverage establishment
11. Excellent communication skills, coupled with a confident personality and ability to listen, influence and manage multi-disciplinary stakeholders
12. Proven experience in change management
13. Strong understanding of operational systems within a busy food and beverage service
