Job Description
Avery Dennison Medical seeks a Product & Marketing Manager to drive revenue growth, profitability, and product lifecycle management for our Medical/MedTech portfolio. This role collaborates with Sales, R&D, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain Management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about growth and calculated risk. Avery Dennison Medical is a white label manufacturer of medical devices, serving clients across Europe, USA, and Asia, offering solutions compliant with FDA 21CFR and EU CE/MDR standards. Our Longford facility features Cleanroom manufacturing, R&D, and Plant Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Product Management & Support: Define and execute product lifecycle activities, including launches, line extensions, cost reductions, and updates.
* Pricing & Commercial Terms: Develop competitive pricing strategies, lead cost-down initiatives, and manage commercial agreements.
* Market Focus: Ostomy, Wound Care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Drapes, and Skin Care.
* Market Analytics: Conduct research on product trends, competition, and payer analysis; develop SME expertise.
* Legal & Contracts: Manage agreements, IP, and legal compliance.
* Service & Collaboration: Establish service guidelines, work with R&D on market insights, and support sales enablement.
* Marketing & Promotions: Lead trade show coordination, campaigns, and liaise with divisions on global offerings.
* Administrative & Leadership: Support strategic decisions, lead cross-functional initiatives, manage budgets, and coordinate travel.
* Business Growth & Strategy: Manage product portfolio for growth, develop strategic plans, and participate in customer engagements.
* Profitability & Market Analysis: Monitor product profitability and analyze market trends.
Qualifications
Ideal Requirements:
* 5+ years in Product Management, R&D, or Commercial roles within MedTech, managing technical B2B product lines.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, or finance; financial and business acumen.
* Knowledge of FDA 21CFR, EU CE/MDR regulations.
* Strong communication skills in English, collaborative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Advantageous Requirements:
* MSc or additional technical/commercial qualifications.
* Experience in Ostomy, Wound Care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, or Skin Care markets.
* Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%) and visit the Longford office regularly. Location: Longford, Ireland. Possibility for remote work after a trial period.
