About the Role:
* Customer Interaction: You will engage with customers, offering thoughtful advice, recommending products, and highlighting our amazing offers to ensure every shopper has an enjoyable experience.
* Till Operation: You will efficiently manage transactions at the counter or support our self-checkout systems, ensuring seamless and speedy checkouts for our customers.
* Stock Management: You will take pride in maintaining well-stocked shelves, ensuring our customers can always find what they need during the busiest shopping season.
* Store Presentation: You will maintain the high standards of our stores, ensuring every area looks its best and reflects positively on our brand.
* Online Order Support: As part of this customer-facing role, you may assist with deliveries, picking, and packing for online orders as needed.
Requirements:
* Availability to work Bank Holidays, including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, St Stephen's Day, and New Year's Day.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to approach customers confidently and provide personalized experiences.
* Operational efficiency, with the ability to balance customer care with daily shopfloor and operational tasks.
* Technical aptitude, with a willingness to learn new technology, including handheld mobile devices, tills, and self-checkouts.
* Collaborative mindset, with a focus on teamwork and supporting colleagues to achieve store goals.
