Career development and progression within a high-end hotel environment The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail Professional, confident, and welcoming, with a guest-first attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Opera/Hotsoft or similar hotel systems Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider team. Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach Duties & Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all wedding and event enquiries (phone, email, or walk-ins) Conduct property showarounds and consultations with prospective clients and couples. Manage all event bookings from initial enquiry through to successful delivery. Prepare and distribute detailed function sheets for all relevant departments. Ensure smooth communication and handovers to the operations team. Work towards and exceed wedding and event sales targets. Represent the hotel with professionalism and warmth throughout the client journey. Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of event facilities, packages, and pricing. Attend management meetings and contribute to the overall success of the events department.
