Legal Administrator (Dublin 4)
About the Role
A leading commercial law firm based in Dublin 4 is seeking a Legal Administrator to join its busy and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail‑oriented individual to support legal professionals across a range of practice areas in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
The Role
As a Legal Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and organisational support to solicitors and legal teams. You will be involved in managing documentation, coordinating workflows, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role offers exposure to a variety of legal matters and is ideal for someone looking to build a long‑term career within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities

Open and manage new client matters, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with internal procedures
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Manage incoming and outgoing post, including scanning, filing, and distribution
Maintain and organise documents within document management systems (e.g. iManage), ensuring correct naming and filing protocols
Assist with billing processes, including drafting and issuing invoices
Coordinate meetings, diaries, and appointments for the legal team
Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders as required
Ensure all records and files are maintained to a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality
Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a legal administrative role, or professional services environment
Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with systems such as Keyhouse or iManage is an advantage
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Professional, discreet, and confident in handling sensitive information
