Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned audit professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality audit services. As an Audit Manager, you will play a vital role in client relationship management, team development, and ensuring quality audit delivery aligned with evolving regulatory standards.
* Manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industries
* Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with internal and external standards
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and practical advice
* Oversee the work of junior team members, offering technical guidance and on-the-job coaching
* Review audit files to ensure the delivery of high-quality, insightful reports
* Support team resourcing, workflow planning, and delivery to deadlines
* Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge base and support internal training
* Participate in new business initiatives and contribute to proposals and client pitches
* Champion a culture of integrity, quality, and collaboration within your team
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
* Several years' experience in audit within a professional services environment
* Strong understanding of auditing and financial reporting standards (IFRS/FRS)
* Previous experience managing client relationships and leading audit teams
* High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing competing deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Possession for developing others, with experience mentoring or training junior staff
* Tech-savvy, with experience using audit/accounting software and a strong grasp of Excel
* Commercial awareness and a solutions-driven mindset
