We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Junior Legal Assistant to support our legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents such as correspondence, contracts, and reports with high accuracy.
* Maintain the integrity of files and documentation by organizing and storing them electronically and physically according to established guidelines.
* Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates for Solicitors while ensuring seamless communication.
* Respond promptly to phone calls, take messages, and manage client and external correspondence efficiently.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to clients and cases.
* Conduct basic research under supervision to ensure informed decision-making.
* Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
* A minimum requirement is a Leaving Certificate.
* Possession of a Legal Secretary Certificate or relevant post-secondary education is preferred.
* The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of experience in a legal or administrative setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary for success.
* Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is beneficial.
