Software Systems Business Analyst
Are you a technically grounded, people leader with a knack for applying processes that allow teammates to flourish and the product to thrive? We areseeking a teammate with an engineering background and a special blend of agile abilities. This role willsitin Engineering Enablement’s requirements management group. Asuccessful teammate in this role will unblock engineers, including by assisting with engineering blockers, and will contribute technical stories to the product backlog.

The Software Systems Business AnalystWill:
• Analyze the internal ecosystem to assess trends in tool usage, especially regarding system requirements and specifications.
• Synthesize research findings into business-relevant problem statements and solution proposals.
• Represent user perspectives within the requirements management team.
• Collaborate with EE and RM teammates, taking ownership of various technical stories in the engineering backlog.
• Collaborate with software engineeringcolleagues and other stakeholders in planning and design activities, bringing a feasibility-minded, quality-focused perspective to requirements gathering.
• Work with product teammates to establish, track, and execute relevant quarterly goals.
• Participate in demos and user acceptance testing.
• Be able to present relevant proposals to mid-level stakeholders with polish and comfort in spoken, written, and visual formats.
• Assist in creating a research process methodology to help make sure artifacts and deliverables are standardized, organized and available.
• Collaborate with software product teammates and other stakeholders in discovery and planning activities. Conceptualize features, map user journeys, build personas, lead user story workshops, and define requirements.
Expected Experience and Skills
• 6+ years’ combined experience as business analyst and/or product definer in multifaceted system environments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; highly attentive to detail
• Able to share information effectively.
• Demonstrable experience working in aheavily regulated environment
• Comfort working on a diverse team with local and distributed teammates
• Able to establish credibility and relationships with stakeholders throughout the business
• Knowledge of, and comfort with, general principles of the SDLC
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrable experience in system-driven requirements management
• General awareness of cybersecurity principles
Nice-to-Have Experience and Skills
• Innately curious and friendly teammate
• Familiarity with IC product data sheets
• Experience with automotive functional safety
• Highly motivated to explore new opportunities and raise the bar
• Talent for creating peer-to-peer educational materials
