Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional personal care and support to patients/residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
* Assist with mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and daily living activities, promoting independence and self-care whenever possible.
* Record and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention to any concerns or issues.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, adhering to infection control and health and safety protocols.
* Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless care and support.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support modules completed (e.g., Care Skills and Care of the Older Person).
* At least 6 months of recent experience as a Healthcare Assistant (preferred), with a strong understanding of patient needs and care delivery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Right to work in Ireland (Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, EU/EEA citizenship, etc.), with Garda Vetting and references required.
