The Consultant Neurologist will provide specialist care for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disease.
The role involves inpatient and outpatient work, multidisciplinary collaboration, and participation in clinical governance and service development.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality consultant-led neurology care Manage inpatient consultations and outpatient clinics Participate in MDT meetings and on-call rotas (where applicable) Contribute to teaching, audit and service improvement Requirements Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council in Neurology Consultant-level experience in Neurology Excellent communication and teamwork skills Salary & Benefits €233,527 - €280,513 per annum, in line with the HSE Consultant salary scale.
12-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension
