IT Site Support (Infrastructure) Analyst
Location: Cork, Ireland (onsite). Contract: 12 months +
Overview
IT Site Support (Infrastructure) Analyst role providing hands-on technical support for desktop, laptop, peripherals, mobile devices, operating systems and network services across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on technical support to clients for desktop and portable workstations, peripherals and mobile devices, including company operating systems and software.
* Track and manage client service requests in the ticketing system; follow up to ensure effective resolution and customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate referrals for more advanced issues to the next support tier or external resources.
* Set up laptops, desktops and mobile devices for new hires in accordance with user configuration and software requirements.
* Support wired and wireless networks per standards; troubleshoot LAN performance with remote specialist teams.
* Provide onsite installation and support for computers, printers, audiovisual, video conferencing, wireless access points, and telephony systems in office and factory environments.
* Collaborate on IT initiatives and provide on-site support for global projects.
* Provide remote IT support to users at multiple sites (offices, labs, warehouses).
* Demonstrate solid knowledge of Microsoft and Apple products; familiarity with cabling in MDF/IDFs.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work physically (standing/walking/climbing as required).
Qualifications / Essential Skills
* 5 years of experience in IT support
* Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
* O365 troubleshooting
* Dell hardware troubleshooting
* Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
* Microsoft Azure
* Understanding of networking
* Familiar with cabling in MDF/IDFs
* Apple iPhone setup and support
Skills Required
* Excellent customer service
* Highly motivated with strong communication (written and verbal)
* Familiar with standard IT concepts, practices and procedures
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently
