Meet The Team
The Calibration Technician 3 is responsible for performing a variety of work functions related to equipment calibration and maintenance of the equipment calibration system. Incumbents will develop written calibration procedures, schedule calibration activities (internal and external), perform equipment calibration and repair, ensure proper documentation of calibration results and maintain the equipment calibration database. Must be proficient with mechanical equipment calibration methodologies, troubleshooting and repair.
This is a day shift role:
Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
Where You Come In
* You will calibrate equipment such as scales/balances, thermometers, temperature & humidity chambers, dimensional equipment, mass, force, dewpoint, pressure/vacuum, time, velocity, ovens, refrigerators/freezers and differential pressure, etc.
* You will review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
* You will generate reports, records, update histories and perform data entry in the calibration database. Install, troubleshoot, adjust and repair measuring equipment.
* You will be responsible for maintaining calibration test equipment, work area and laboratory.
* You will work within relevant industry guidelines: ISO-13485, ANSI-Z540 or ISO Use the Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Excel, Outlook.
* You will utilize calibration software.
* You will follow related SOPs, cGMPs and industry practices. Work in a cleanroom environment.
* You will apply knowledge of ESD and have experience working in an EPA-controlled environment.
What Makes You Successful
* You have experience calibrating equipment such as scales/balances, thermometers, temperature & humidity chambers, dimensional equipment, mass, force, dewpoint, pressure/vacuum, time, velocity, ovens, refrigerators/freezers and differential pressure, etc.
* You have experience reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
* You bring experience installing, troubleshooting, adjusting and repairing measuring equipment.
* You have experience working on calibration software.
* You have previous work experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry.
* You have experience working with GMP practices.
* You have worked on calibration database management and navigation experience; Blue Mountain (RAM) Software or Maximo is preferred.

Experience And Education
Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and a minimum level 6 diploma/ trade certificate or equivalent.
