Role Description
This is a part-time remote position for a Senior Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will oversee and execute payroll processes, including tracking and processing employee wages, handling deductions, and ensuring timely payroll disbursements. Key responsibilities include managing garnishments, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. You will also provide support for payroll inquiries and collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll accuracy.
Qualifications
* Proven skills and experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing
* In-depth knowledge of Payroll Taxes and Garnishments
* Expertise in utilizing Payroll Services efficiently
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with employee data
* Proficiency with payroll software and tools; advanced Excel skills are an advantage
* Understanding of applicable labor laws and tax regulations
* Effective communication and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources preferred
* Previous experience in a payroll or HR role, preferably in a senior capacity
