OverviewLocation: Waterford / HybridReporting to: Fire ManagerTerms: Specified purpose contract (39 Hours per week Monday - Friday)Salary: €32,111 - €41,564 (Please note that offers are typically made at the beginning to mid-range of the advertised salary, based on skills and experience)Job Purpose: To coordinate the delivery of essential national servicing programmes to Respond's homes and support the National Maintenance Manager in maintaining accurate records and preparing performance reports.Location Respond is based in Waterford, Ireland with hybrid working options.Closing Date for Applicants: Friday, 19th September 2025ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinating cyclical programs: Support the National Maintenance Manager (NMM) and the regionally based Property Surveyors to deliver essential servicing and maintenance programs.Programs might include:Annual gas servicing programme.Fire safety equipment maintenance programmes.Periodic electrical testing programmes.Lift servicing and maintenance programmes.Legionella/ water safety management programmes.Other cyclical maintenance programmes.Co-ordination of programmes will include:Preparing servicing programmes on the Housing management system (Active H).Issuing orders to contractors.Liaison with contractors, tenants and colleagues as necessary.Updating tenants and colleagues on any programme changes.Monitoring programmes against agreed delivery schedules.Regular reporting to the National Maintenance Manager on progress.Updating all records on Active H (housing management system) including servicing records, certificates, warranties, etc.Reviewing invoices against programme completions.Contract Management of Cyclical Compliance Programmes.Performance ReportingPrepare regular Technical Service reports as required by the National Maintenance Manager in relation to all technical services including servicing programs, repairs, voids, etc.Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders as required by Head of Housing, National Maintenance Manager or Property Surveyors.Data ManagementEnsure all customer data is updated to reflect changes, particularly contact details.Maintain contractor information, including following up on insurance information due to expire.Update stock data information following replacement of components through planned or reactive work.Prepare stock data reports to inform future programs or report on repair history or trends.GeneralWork proactively across teams to deliver a seamless service to customers.Work in line with Respond's values and contribute to the organisation's mission.Be a positive ambassador for Respond in all activities.Ensure health and safety for yourself, colleagues, tenants and contractors.Ensure records relating to tenants are up to date and in accordance with GDPR requirements.Any other relevant duties as assigned.Technical SkillsExcellent IT skills including knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.Analytical and comfortable with interpreting financial and performance data.Desired Skills / Personal AttributesGood organisational, planning and problem solving skillsGood written and oral presentation skillsStrong negotiation skills while being empathetic and customer focusedAble to work unsupervised and with integrityLearning focused and reflective in practiceAbility to work effectively in a teamAttention to detail and ability to work under pressureExperiencePosition requires 1-3 years of experience.Experience working in a property or housing management environment desirable.Note: This description preserves the key information about the role and responsibilities; unrelated site prompts and duplicate introductory lines have been removed to improve clarity.
