Thisrolewillfocusondevelopingandoptimising CNCprogramsforcomplex,high-precisioncomponentsusedinregulatedmanufacturingenvironments.
The Role You will be responsible for creating and optimising offline CNCprograms using CAD/CAMsoftwareforadvancedmillingandturningmachines,ensuringcomponentsareproducedtoextremelytighttolerancesacrossarangeofmetalsandengineeringpolymers.
Workingcloselywithengineering,production,andqualityteams,youwillhelpdeliverefficient,high-qualitymachiningprocessesthatsupportnewproductintroductionandongoingproduction.
Key Responsibilities Develop and optimise CNCprogramsformillingandturningmachines using CAD/CAMsoftware Interprettechnicaldrawings,3 Dmodels,andengineeringspecifications Selectappropriatecuttingtools,speeds,feeds,andmachiningstrategies Machineprecisioncomponentsfrommetalssuchasstainlesssteel,titanium,andaluminium,aswellasengineeringpolymers Troubleshootmachiningandprogrammingissuestosupportproductionefficiency Continuouslyimprovecycletimes,surfacefinish,andtoollife Workcloselywithengineering,production,andqualityteamstoensuremanufacturabilityandcompliance Maintainaccuratedocumentationofmachiningprogramsandprocessimprovements Requirements Proven experience as a CAD/CAMProgrammerinaprecisionmanufacturingenvironment Experiencewith CAD/CAMsoftwaresuchas Solid CAM, Hyper Mill, Esprit,orsimilar Strongunderstandingof CNCmachining (millingand/orturning) Experiencemachiningtotighttolerances (0.02mmorbetter) Strongknowledgeof GD&Tandengineeringdrawings Experienceworkingwithmetalsandengineeringpolymers Strongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail Desirable Experience in medicaldeviceoraerospacemanufacturing Familiaritywith ISO13485orregulatedmanufacturingenvironments Whats on Offer Opportunity to work with cutting-edgeprecisionmanufacturingtechnologies Exposuretohigh-value,complexcomponentsforglobal Med Techcustomers Acollaborativeengineeringenvironmentfocusedoncontinuousimprovementandinnovati Skills: CAD/CAM Programming
