We are currently seeking a Tax Director to play a key leadership role within the tax practice of a growing international audit and taxation firm. This opportunity will suit an experienced Senior Manager or Director-level professional seeking a step up into a broader leadership role, combining senior client exposure with real influence over strategy and growth. The client base includes a broad mix of multinational and Irish indigenous businesses, and the role involves significant hands-on client engagement and business development responsibility. While the role is anchored in Limerick City, the firm offers very flexible remote working arrangements, allowing candidates across Clare, Galway, Mayo, Tipperary, Cork, and Kerry to attend the office only a small number of days per month. The firm actively protects work/life balance at senior level. Long hours and weekend work are the exception, not the norm, and leadership is strongly aligned around sustainable performance and long-term career success. What will the role entail? The role will require you to: Lead and oversee the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services across all tax heads Act as a trusted senior adviser to a portfolio of key MNC and Irish indigenous clients Provide technical leadership on complex tax advisory, structuring, and planning matters Maintain hands-on involvement in client relationships and key engagements Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the tax practice Advise on the tax implications of significant transactions, restructurings, and commercial decisions Take responsibility for technical quality, risk management, and best practice standards Interpret legislative and Revenue developments and communicate impact to clients and teams Lead, mentor, and develop Tax Managers and junior professionals Contribute to the strategic direction and longer-term evolution of the tax practice How do you know if you are right for the role?
