Overview Our client is a well-established organisation within the technology and IT services sector, delivering complex infrastructure and workplace transformation projects to a diverse customer base.
As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to introduce strong project management rigour and discipline across a portfolio of technical initiatives.
This role will suit a hands-on PM who is comfortable operating in an environment with strong service delivery and technical expertise, but where formal project management capability is still being embedded.
Key Responsibilities Lead and govern end-to-end delivery of IT transformation projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies are actively managed Introduce and maintain project management best practices, structure and reporting across active initiatives Work closely with technical delivery teams and service delivery managers to ensure alignment and accountability Manage stakeholder communications, status reporting and escalation where required Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to agreed quality standards Project Types Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade programmes Microsoft technology migrations, including: Active Directory & Exchange to Microsoft 365 Occasional smaller-scale Google Workspace to Microsoft migrations Working Model 3 days per week contract requirement Predominantly remote role May involve the occasional on-site workshop or meeting in Sandyford, Cork or Limerick (no fixed on-site schedule) Candidate Profile Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and end-user computing projects as a Project Manager Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and migration-based programmes Comfortable bringing structure, governance and discipline into less formalised PM environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Self-starter who can operate effectively in a largely remote engagement Skills: Project Manager Delivery Transformation Prince2 PMP Benefits: Work From Home
