Description OverviewThis role as a Sourcing Manager requires the management of contract manufacturers and suppliers for External Finished Goods. A key feature of this role is the ability to manage high value, strategic partnerships. This will be a permanent contract based in Perrigo’s Dublin Office with work from home flexibility (up to 2 days per week).Scope of the RoleManage an external contract manufacturing supply portfolioDraft, implement and execute effective sourcing strategiesReview and manage category spend and identify opportunities for cost savings without negatively impacting quality or serviceNegotiate, draft and execute contractsPrice negotiation and managementSpend analysis and budget managementEnsure robust serviceOptimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiencyRepresent Procurement in multifunctional initiativesInternal stakeholder managementExperience RequiredPrior experience managing a category of external manufacturing suppliers (or similar)Experience in pharmaceutical/FMCG would be beneficialExperience with managing global supplier relationships preferable (especially with suppliers in China and India)Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in similar rolesStrong negotiation & influencing skills, both externally for commercial discussions and internally for critical procurement issuesUnderstanding of market dynamics and sound business acumenStrong project management and leadership skillsProficient in SAP, Excel, PowerBI and PowerpointBA/BS DegreeCIPS qualification would be beneficialBenefitsWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
