About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic
Events Assistant
to support the planning and execution of events. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and ensuring smooth operations on the day of events. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering events (conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions, community events, etc.).
* Support event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, transportation, and equipment setup.
* Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure timely delivery of services.
* Help with event marketing activities, such as creating invitations, updating social media, and managing guest lists.
* Handle attendee communications, registrations, and follow-ups.
* Provide on-site support during events, including setup, guest assistance, and troubleshooting.
* Track event expenses, maintain budgets, and prepare post-event reports.
* Conduct research on venues, suppliers, and industry trends to support future events.
Requirements
* Previous experience in events, hospitality, or administrative support (internships/volunteering acceptable).
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of event management software/tools is a plus.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or travel as required by events.
* Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
