Position
We are seeking a talented and adaptable Environmental Consultant to join our team, focusing on workload across both the Republic of Ireland and the Middle East. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects in different regions, contributing to environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
1. Environmental Assessment: Conduct environmental assessments, site evaluations, impact assessments, and audits per local and international standards.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Keep updated on environmental laws and ensure project adherence in both regions.
3. Client Engagement: Build relationships, understand client needs, and deliver high-quality consulting services.
4. Project Management: Manage projects from proposal to completion, coordinating teams and resources efficiently.
5. Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge in air quality, water resources, waste management, and sustainability to support projects.
6. Cross-Cultural Communication: Effectively navigate cultural differences and language barriers in diverse regions.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
* At least 3 years of environmental consulting experience in Ireland and the Middle East.
* Strong understanding of regional environmental regulations and permits.
* Experience in assessments, impact studies, and compliance evaluations.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
* Effective communication skills in English and preferably additional Middle Eastern languages.
