Lead Reporting Specialist
Responsibilities
* Oversee a team that interprets regulatory reporting requirements for financial institutions.
* Maintain compliance with six different jurisdictions' reporting regulations.
* Support the implementation of reporting changes due to new regulations across multiple banks.
* Set up new regulatory reports, including establishing roles and responsibilities, process flows, and descriptions when applicable.
* Monitor daily metrics and align them within the group while managing compliance with internal and regulatory limits on an ongoing basis.
* Communicate with local authorities regarding reporting matters.
* Support the Regulatory Reporting team in developing work instructions, training, and support.
* Implement Basel III requirements, as translated in local prudential frameworks in multiple jurisdictions, for all main risk types.
* Perform a detailed review and impact analysis of each requirement on an ongoing basis.
* Provide solutions to monitor and manage Liquidity and Capital within the organization.
* Collaborate with teams in different locations.
* Identify business needs and prioritize report support.
Qualifications and Experience
* A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, consultancy, or audit.
* Experience in people management and multitasking.
* Strong focus on detail and research skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
