The Role:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the initial scoping and execution of technology and process optimisation projects. The role requires project management experience with a focus on the implementation of technology solutions and process improvement methodologies aligned to our objectives on an ongoing basis.
Role Responsibilities:
* Analysis of requirements; gap analysis; co-design solutions; end to end testing activities; implementation and post-implementation support;
* Assist with implementation of process and technology solutions, managing project plans, timelines, roadmaps, budgets, action and RAID logs;
* Design and execute comprehensive test cases to verify software adherence to customer requirements and specifications;
* Analyse, cleanse, transform, manage and validate data; undertake data ownership/management in systems to facilitate data integrity;
* Identify, report, and track software defects and issues, reporting these to the Development team;
* Lead demos to end users, and manage UAT and end user experience testing of technology solutions;
* Liaise with external technology providers to test ongoing development of technology solutions, extending to UAT and end user experience testing;
* Assist with the identification and mitigation of project risks and issues, and manage change requests;
* Research technologies and assist with development of project business cases;
* Assist with vendor evaluations and/or implementations of third-party solutions; and
* Any other tasks as may be assigned by the SVP Project Management & Technology and Project Managers.
The Person:
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail. They will have the foresight to anticipate future challenges and addresses potential risks and issues. This person will be self-motivated, holding themselves accountable, with an ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They will have the ability to learn and keep up to date with role-related technical developments, mastering any new technologies and processes. The person will be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders. They will have outstanding communications skills, with an ability to influence and work with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external).
Knowledge and Experience:
* Relevant third level qualification with a minimum of two years’ experience in a business analyst role or similar;
* Solid understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies;
* Ability to document and troubleshoot issues;
* Experience in project management and technology implementation;
* Proven experience working in an Agile environment;
* Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM is an advantage;
* Working knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry is considered an advantage;
* Foresight to anticipate and address potential risks and issues;
* Robust project management and co-ordination skills;
* Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
* Ability to learn and master new technologies and processes;
* Flexible and adaptable, with and ability to manage multiple stakeholders;
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and work with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external).
