Senior Sales Development Lead
This is a permanent role within our Sales Team, responsible for driving net new medium to large scale Managed Services Opportunities for the business from Corporate, Enterprise and Public Sector customers in Ireland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing early stage relationships with customers, working with our Marketing function, Managed Service Solution Architect and ITSM Consulting Team to position us as a credible partner for Managed Services and drive these to opportunities.
* Building strong relationships with customers at all levels;
* Researching the market and related products;
* Presenting service offerings in a structured professional way face to face;
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers;
* Calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
* Negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Key Responsibilities:
The following activities are essential for success in this role:
1. Working with clients who typically have between 250 and 5000 users to develop and cultivate relevant contacts from C-level through to technical influencers and drive revenue for the various solutions on offer.
2. Representing us at trade exhibitions and events;
3. Liaising with the delivery organisation to ensure everything running smoothly;
4. Recording and reporting sales information on our CRM system;
5. Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will require:
* Min of 5+ years experience in a sales role within the ICT Sector that included selling complex Managed Services;
* Experience of selling Managed Services into larger customers (min 250-3000 users) and comfortable talking to all levels within the customer from C Suite through Senior and Mid Level management and technical staff;
* Adept with CRM and Microsoft Office;
