Estimator
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Estimator. This position offers opportunities to work on commercial, industrial, and educational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate costings for clients.
* Develop detailed estimates for labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor packages, considering key project risks and opportunities.
* Compile and deliver tender submissions within agreed deadlines.
* Ancess project risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
* Source, review, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure favourable terms.
* Collaborate with Commercial, Contracts, and Project Managers to maintain consistent cost data and ensure seamless communication.
* Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and design teams, providing valuable insights and expertise.
* Contribute to value engineering initiatives and alternative construction solutions, driving business growth.
* Produce detailed handover documentation for project teams once tenders are secured, ensuring a smooth transition.
* Support early-stage project planning with cost advice and procurement strategies, guiding project development.
