Leahys Open Farm is looking for a Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the daily operations of the cafe and the customer experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily cafe operations, including food and beverage service, reservations, and other client needs. Ensure food ordering is done on a timely fashion and products are supplied on time and in excellent quality. Ensure all staff members are qualified, trained, and friendly. Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and health code guidelines. Ensure all coffee products are prepared according to company standards and health code guidelines. Ensure the cafe and surrounding area is clean and presentable to customers at all times. Assist with special events and other events as needed. One of the main roles of this position is to ensure there is a positive work environment for staff members. Other duties as assigned. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Able to work in a team environment as well as independently. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment maintenance preferred but not required. Food safety training required. HACCP experience and implementation Full time position weekend availability also.
