Expectations for the role
* Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable mobile and broadband solutions.
* Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets while contributing to the store’s overall performance.
* Handle queries and issues efficiently, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
* Support daily administrative tasks, including stock control, data entry, and cash handling.
* Stay up‑to‑date with eir’s product offerings, promotions, and store policies to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery.
* Keep informed of competitor offerings to provide the most competitive information.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with store trading hours.
Requirements for a successful application
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Confidence in engaging with a variety of customers and understanding their needs.
* Clear, effective communication skills with a strong ability to explain products and services.
* A positive, target‑driven mindset with a passion for providing great service.
* Interest in mobile phones, broadband, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
* 1–2 years of experience in retail or sales is desirable; relevant life experience is also considered.
* A strong customer focus and a proactive attitude are key to success.
