Accountant- Recently QualifiedThis is a great opportunity for an recently qualified accountant to join a growing propertydevelopment company in Sligo. The desired candidate will have experience in preparingaccounts, excellent IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active "can do" attitude. This is a key position within the Finance team and the candidate will gain excellent commercial experience supporting the FD and key members of the leadership team. We are strategically based on the west coast of Ireland and have an extensive pipeline of work in the commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, and residential sectors.Responsibilities:Preparation of period end management accounts including reporting and analysisPost period end journalsMaintaining balance sheet reconciliationsAssist in creating a detailed audit file and support the year end audit processOverseeing Banking, intercompany and sales reportingMonthly reporting on projectsContribute to the preparation of budgets and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with regulatory legislation for financial and tax reportingParticipate with ongoing development and review of accounting and cost management systems, internal controls, and processesContribute to other commercial & financial projects as requiredRequirements:Qualified accountant (ACAi ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel.Experience of working with systems, preferably Xero & Live Costs.Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to liaise and direct across multiple departments.The role will be office-based.Work hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break.Construction-related experience is preferred but not essential.Flexible start date for the right candidate but ideally ASAP.Job Type: Full-timePay: €32,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
