Your New Role What you need to know Our client, a leading Irish food manufacturer based in Wexford, is seeking an experienced QA Supervisor to join their team. This is a key role ensuring that all production activities meet the highest quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement across the site. This is a shift role and is a Full Time Permanent Position. Shift Pattern as below: Week 1 Monday to Thursday 0500 to 1500 Week 2 Monday to Friday 1500 to 2300 Week 3 Monday to Thursday 0500 to 1500 Week 4 Monday to Friday 1500 to 2300 Key duties and responsibilities: Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards. Maintain and implement quality systems including BRC, HACCP, and GMP requirements. Carry out product inspections and ensure compliance with QAS, recipes, and specifications. Identify and report quality, cleaning, and engineering issues; implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Investigate and manage customer complaints, ensuring root causes are identified and actions are closed out. Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Conduct raw material inspections, manage stock control, and assist in supplier monitoring and traceability compliance. Ensure production processes follow established SOPs and HACCP plans. What are we looking for? 35 years experience in a QA or quality supervisory role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, GMP, and quality management systems. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational, planning, and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across teams. Confident, proactive, and flexible, with a passion for continuous improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable maintaining accurate quality documentation.
