Overview
Join Barclays as a Senior Corporate Operations Analyst. You will be part of the team that sits in the First Line of Defence and will perform back-office day-to-day processing services that support the Corporate Banking client base in Europe. The team has service management oversight responsibilities for centralised processes.
Accountabilities
* Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
* Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational processes.
* Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
* Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
* Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations.
* Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

* Maintain knowledge of how sub-functions integrate with the broader function and the bank’s products, services, and processes.
* Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate to achieve organisational objectives.
* Make evaluative judgments based on factual information and pay attention to detail.
* Resolve problems by identifying solutions guided by precedents; communicate complex information as needed.
* Act as a point of contact for stakeholders outside the immediate function and build a network of contacts.
Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to analyse operational processes and complete tasks accurately and promptly.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
* Solid understanding of operational risk, control environments, and the ability to identify process enhancements.
* Strong team player capable of working within a busy team and supporting colleagues.
* Self-driven with a commitment to developing personal skills and experience.
* Ability to build trust and confidence within the Operations Team and wider bank colleagues.
