Responsibilities
:
1. Applying analytic techniques toplex information sets to make logical and effectively supported rmendations on cases for reporting. Such investigation decisions are critical to PayPal's fiduciary responsibility under the Bank Secrecy Act (Anti-Money Laundering rules) to effectively monitor customer's activities regarding detecting and reporting suspicious activity
2. Assessment of customer profiles and large amounts of data to ensure normal and expected activity, including Acceptable Use Policy adherence and Know Your Customer efforts
3. Documentingplex findings in a clear narrative style format, in the manual and automated process case management system and prepare reports to management as required
4. Regularly exercise good judgment and in making decisions or rmendations in relation to multipleplex case investigations
5. While other members of the team have a broad mandate when ites to investigations, this role is specifically focused on High-Risk andplex.
6. Analysis of trends within the use of Crypto on the PayPal platform to find potential methods of abuse and ensure our detections are working properly.
7. Assessment of customer profiles and large amounts of data to ensure normal and expected activity, including Acceptable Use Policy adherence and Know Your Customer efforts
8. Leveraging internal data as well as various open-source research platforms to investigate potentially illicit activities and support investigative decisions
9. Documenting findings in narrative style format, in the manual and automated process case management system and prepare reports to management as required
10. Regularly exercise good judgment and in making decisions or rmendations in relation to case investigations
Minimum Qualifications:
11. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
