My client is seeking a Dev Ops engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support digital development and deployment.
This document outlines the expected scope of services that we require.
The Dev Ops Engineer collaborates within a cross-functional development team to build modern web and mobile applications using React, Node.js, and React Native.
While closely aligned with the product teams day-to-day work, the Dev Ops engineer will also be contributing to and benefiting from shared standards, tooling, and innovation across the organization, working with the central Dev Ops group.
A Dev Ops engineer will have the following key responsibilities to deliver: Expected technical knowledge of the resources engaged Strong experience with Azure Cloud services (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, etc.).
Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a real plus).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Circle CI, etc.).
Familiarity with Java Script/Type Script ecosystems, especially React, Node.js, and React Native.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
Exposure to AI/ML tools in Dev Ops contexts (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Azure AI, Lang Chain agents).
Desirable Knowledge(not a must) Experience with mobile CI/CD (e.g., Fastlane, App Center).
Familiarity with feature flagging, canary deployments, and blue/green deployments.
Knowledge of security best practices in Dev Ops (Dev Sec Ops).
Contributions to open-source Dev Ops tools or frameworks.
