About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development and Partnership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and prioritizing potential business opportunities and partnerships with Auto OEMs, their financial services companies, and captives, as well as Fleet Management Companies (FMCs) within the broker/MGA structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate the automotive and mobility industry in Ireland (and later other European markets) to generate new business opportunities
- Identify and qualify opportunities, working with the wider team to formulate commercially viable solutions
- Serve as the focal point for operational queries with our affinity partner clients
- Ensure partner performance standards are achieved
- Achieve revenue plans and income results
Requirements:
- MUST: Motor Insurance and/or Automotive Financial Services experience
- MUST: Experience managing corporate partnership and affinity relationships (B2B2x)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
- 3+ years in business development, account management/sales, or consulting
Desirable Skills:
- Commercial awareness and ability to represent the company effectively
- Operational numeracy to interpret data and KPIs
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Project management capabilities and foresight to identify potential issues
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Creative problem solver
