Water Conservation Lead This is a leadership position within our water network management team, requiring the right candidate to lead and manage leakage detection teams. They will be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance, skills development, performance reviews, and efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate should have experience in senior water network management or utility network management roles. Relevant qualifications and training are desirable, as well as strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders. As Water Conservation Lead, you will oversee leakage detection operations, district metered areas integrity, data accuracy, and technology use. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, approving purchases, and optimizing cost-effective delivery of leakage reduction activities. You will coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure effective planning, permitting, and reporting. Prioritize and direct proactive and reactive leakage control activities, manage small projects, and escalate issues appropriately. Key responsibilities include team leadership, budget and resource management, collaboration and stakeholder engagement, operational planning, decision-making, health and safety, data and technology oversight, reservoir and pump management, and emergency cover.
