While holding a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) license is preferred, training can be provided.
However, candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance certificate.
Your primary responsibilities will be to ensure the efficient and safe handling of products within the warehouse, from staging to dispatch.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries of products across Europe and the UK, including clearing customs.
This will involve accurately documenting all customs requirements to prevent shipping delays.
Your ability to perform these tasks efficiently and safely is essential to uphold the company's operational standards.
In addition to handling products, you will operate the counterbalance to load materials for international shipments.
This includes ensuring that each pallet staged meets the appropriate requirements, that packing lists are accurate, that pallets are properly labelled to meet customs compliance standards, and that all shipments are accurately booked out and updated on the WMS.
Effective communication with key stakeholders is vital to ensure all specifications are met, making you an integral part of the smooth operation of the warehouse dispatch process.
Responsibilities: Manage the safe and efficient handling, staging, and dispatch of products.
Operate a Counterbalance forklift to load and unload materials for international shipments.
Ensure all pallets are staged correctly, labelled accurately, and meet customs compliance standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate packing lists and documentation to support customs clearance.
Coordinate shipments to Europe and the UK, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
Accurately record all shipping activities and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure shipment specifications are met.
Support warehouse operational standards by maintaining safety, quality, and performance targets.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support team goals.
Requirements: Valid Counterbalance forklift certification (essential).
VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift license (preferred, but training provided if needed).
Previous experience in a warehouse dispatch, logistics, or shipping environment.
Knowledge of customs requirements and international shipping procedures (preferred but not essential training provided).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipment documentation.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external partners.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
